On October 18, 2025, Binus University’s Faculty of Humanities held a webinar about cultural intelligence in collaboration with The Ohio State University. The speaker was E. Leigh Bonds, Ph.D., an associate professor at Ohio State.

She spoke at great lengths about intercultural understanding in education, language and psychology. She also elaborated on the concept of cultural intelligence (CQ), diving into its various dimensions and subdimensions. One Creative Digital English student remarked on how he believed the concept would lead people to not only understand and connect with others, but also themselves in the process.

All participants were later divided into breakout rooms to discuss among each other. Here’s to more fruitful collaborations between Binus University  and the Ohio State University!
