From (current) students to (prospective) students
Irfan and a quartet of students, Nadira, Ignatius, Joshua, and Clementine, met and greeted 23 high schoolers from all over Indonesia in a video conference session on Wednesday (4/29). Arranged and fully supported by the marketing team, the session was meant to give high schools students the opportunity to interact with not only the faculty members but also the students of English department.

During the session, Irfan shared some information on curriculum and activities in the Binus English department before he moderated a lively interaction between the 23 high school students with the four current English department students of different cohorts.
The soon-to-graduate Nadira shared her experiences
Nadira, a Binusian 2020 who managed to finish her study in 3.5 years, shared her experiences in doing internships as part of the 3+1 program. Ignatius, the president of the English department student association, shared about the activities of the organisation that he has been leading and managing. Then, Joshua went deeper by talking more about translating and future translation jobs while Clementine, currently manager at a tourism center in Lombok, shared the exciting times she had at Binus and the journey that brought her the internship and job she currently has.
We are hopeful that the session had given the 23 high school students some ideas on English department and the impacts that it may hold for their future career (Ed.)
