To appreciate our partners’  involvement in the Global Learning System ( GLS) program,  Binus Global Office held two special programs on February 13th, 2020. GLS is a learning system where we include companies’ representations into our blended courses. In these courses, the GLS partners take part in online discussions, share ideas on some chosen topics, and answer questions from students, especially ones that would link  theories with the companies’ praxis.

For the night, our partners were attending a talkshow delivered by Ms. Amalia  Maulana, an experienced brand consultant, and a networking dinner afterward.

After the dinner, special tokens of appreciations were presented to a number of partners. Representing English department was Ms. Maria Prawita who attended both the talk show and the dinner event. She made the best use of the events to personally thank our partners and to extend her network.

This semester, English department’s students will interact with our partners from Aceh ( Teuku Umar University), Himpunan Penerjemah Indonesia, PT Omnitama Digitama Internusa, Lancaster University, and English Today. We are hopeful that our partnership with them will not only strengthen our relationship with companies, but will also help our students link the theories they learn with the trends in the industry.
