On Tuesday November 27 The English department welcomed back some of our alumni to talk with students. The event was similar to one that was held the previous Saturday, but this event was part of the Binus Festival, which is held mid semester. It was attended by semester 1 & 3 students.

We were very happy to welcome back Desya, Maya and Alesandro. Desya works at the US Embassy and has had extensive experience in journalism with The Jakarta Post. Maya works in Digital Advertising, and Sandro is forging a path as a self employed trainer.

Our three alumni graduated from the teaching stream and showcased to the students how this stream can in fact open lots of opportunities. By following the teaching stream, students gain self confidence and the ability to communicate effectively timely to an audience. These are essential skills to learn in today’s difgital based economy.
