In addition to attending talks and making plans, lecturers at Binus University were also treated to some recreation time, when it was possible to visit some of the interesting tourist sites around Central Java. Despite an intense sun from a prolonged dry season that does not look like ending soon, Binus lecturers braved the heat and set forth early in the morning in a collection of buses to tour the area for the whole day. Of course, everyone represented the university by wearing specially designed polo shirts to recognise the event.

After two days of meetings and one day of sightseeing, everyone got home safely, just in time for a good night’s sleep and to join further celebrations for Indonesia’s Independence Day, which occurred the next day.
