On 9-10 August 2018 Binus University  English Department was represented by Ibu Wiwiek and Pak Akun at the 2018 ESAI Congress.

ESAI means ‘English Study Association in Indonesia’. This is an organisation that was established in 2014. As the name suggests, the organisation aims to explore and develop the study of English in Indonesia.

This year it was time to decide on the Committee Members for the upcoming year. A new Chairman was elected. He is Drs. Ribut Basuki MA of Petra Christian University in Surabaya.

In addition to the selection of new Committee Members, a new website for the organisation was discussed. There were also plenary sessions, where Academics had the opportunity to discuss issues related to English studies.
