On 21 October 2025, BINUS University’s Creative Digital English program successfully hosted the talk show Cultureverse 2025: Celebrate the Future through Language, Arts, and Creativity as part of the two-day Cultureverse festival. The event highlighted the power of words in shaping self-expression, social influence, and creative production.

Moderated by Criscentia Jessica Setiadi, the deputy head of the CDE program, the talk show featured inspiring speakers from various creative fields, including Sonia Fergina Citra (Puteri Indonesia 2018 and Women Empowerment Advocate, CDE alumna), Sofi Meloni (Fiction Writer, CDE alumna), Abdul Aziz ‘Comi’ Turhan Kariko (Musician and CDE lecturer), and rapper Igor Saykoji.

 

Through engaging discussions, the speakers explored how language and creativity can empower individuals in the digital era. They emphasized themes of authenticity, discipline, adaptability, and the courage to express one’s true self, aligning with the department’s slogan: “Literally You!”.

The session also included a lively Q&A with students from various schools, interactive activities, and motivational insights encouraging young audiences to pursue creativity with purpose and confidence.
