Sheep in Fog by Sylvia Plath
Sylvia Plath (1932-1963) was an American poet, novelist, and short-story writer known for her intense, confessional style. Her life was marked by intellectual brilliance and emotional turmoil, including the loss of her father at a young age and her struggles with depression. Plath’s work, including the iconic collection “Ariel” and the novel “The Bell Jar,” explores themes of femininity, mental health, and personal identity. Her writing is celebrated for its raw emotional power and vivid imagery. Tragically, she died by suicide at the age of 30, but her work continues to influence and inspire readers, making her a significant figure in literature and the feminist movement.
“Sheep in Fog”, is one of Sylvia Plath’s poems that spoke of her feelings of helplessness, depression, and anxiety. The first picture is the draft or (what may seem ) scribbles of words that Plath made before releasing it to her readers .The second picture is the final version of the poem as we know now.
