Representing Teach for Indonesia (TFI) and Binus University, Dr. Irfan shared important issues on English literacy in Indonesia on April 26, 2-25 to two biliteral groups of youths from Singapore and Indonesia : Youth Corps Singapore and Indorelawan.  Dr.Irfan  highlighted the causes of low literacy level Indonesia and suggested some ways that the   youths can do to support and improve the literacy in Indonesia. 

“Literacy, digital literacy or literacy in general, and English mastery are fundamental for the future. Governments should integrate those skills in every subject of the curriculum so that students will be successful in their learning,” said Dr. Irfan in his 15-minute talk that was followed up by a 40-minute Q and A session.  Dr. Irfan said that he felt grateful to have been given the opportunity to share to two groups of passionate youths.
