What are you up to now?
Currently based in Jayapura, Papua to work for United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF). As a C4D Officer, I am working with UN, Government bodies, CSO/NGO, as well as other related stakeholders to work together in development sectors, especially in Health, Education, Child Protection, and Nutrition programs.
Why did you choose to pursue English Literature?
Why English Literature? because I believe English is a key to achieve my career goals working in an International Organisation or Non Government Organisation.
What do you miss the most from your university life in BINUS University’s English Department?
Study more about the history, society and philosophy, especially that relates to Sustainable Development Goals
Advice for prospective/current students
Take the time to get to know yourself and invest in goals that we want to achieve someday. What I like to do first is learn from other communities or universities to complement what is not yet available on campus.
Notes to our beloved English Department
Happy to be a part of English Dept. The curriculum is dynamic and hopefully it will be more dynamic in the future, especially because it matches with the career availability to produce even cooler alumni!
