This week Microsoft announced a new initiative to help people develop relevant technical skills for today’s world. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella claimed that everyone will increasingly require digital skills. These skills refer to the areas of software development, cyber security and machine learning.

Microsoft will be utilising a number of platforms to help people develop these skills. These are the Microsoft Learning website, LinkedIn Learning and GitHub.

On these platforms there are a number of free courses, as well as significant discounts. It is certainly worth checking out and may offer an excellent opportunity for you to enhance your technical skill set as well as achieve Microsoft certification.
