One of our faculty members, Udiana, is currently in Australia. She is currently doing her PhD in Linguistic Anthropology at University of Queensland, Australia. Her research is focusing on language ideology, social practice, and language change across discourses.

While doing her PhD, she is also volunteering at Pojok Indonesia, University of Queensland. Pojok Indonesiais an Indonesian forum for Australian students who are eager to learn Indonesian language and culture. Through the weekly meeting in this forum, Australian students and the volunteer are discussing general current issues in Indonesia, social condition, cultural events, customs, or whatever is up in Indonesian society.
