Faculty Member Profile: David Bourne.

David Bourne graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a BA in Economics, back in the day when the internet did not exist! Following graduation, David’s interest in travel led him to become involved in the English Language Teaching industry, with his first teaching position in Northern Spain. Following a taste  for adventure, David travelled to Indonesia and continued his career path. Upon completion of the RSA Diploma in ELT to adults (DELTA) he joined the British Council, where he worked in Jakarta and Karachi.

David continued his career by obtaining a Masters in ELT Management (MSc) at Surrey University. This achievement led him into the world of higher education. Before joining BINUS, David was part of the English teaching team at Swiss German University.

David’s current interests include the language and execution of advertising and marketing, effective communication strategies for leadership and organisational culture.
