New Skills And Old Skills
There is a lot of talk about what skills employees will need in the future. Given the fast pace of technology and its ability to replace the actions that were previously done by humans, it is important to keep up to date with the demands of the workplace. The key words are atomisation, robotisation and digitisation, and the algorithms that control them. They will affect different areas of the economy in different ways. Another interesting point is the concept of ‘division of labour’. That is how work is shared between human activity and machine, or non human activity. As time goes by, this division will be taken more and more by machines.
