Bill Gates’ Summer Reading List

As always at the English department we would like to encourage that everyone grow their reading habit. The more you read, the better. Are you confused about where to start? Why not ask Bill Gates?

Mr Gates has recently released his recommendations for books to read over the summer of 2019. Here is the list:

Are you looking for something to read this summer? I can’t recommend the books on my 2019 summer reading list highly enough:

  1. “Upheaval” by Jared Diamond
  2. “Nine Pints” by Rose George
  3. “A Gentleman in Moscow” by Amor Towles
  4. “Presidents of War” by Michael Beschloss
  5. “The Future of Capitalism” by Paul Collier
