BINUS Collaborates with Friends International in Jakarta

One of the partners 3+1 program in community development is Friends International which is located in Gedung Pos, Ruko 1-B, Jakarta Selatan. Friends International has branches in 5 countries, such as Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Switzerland, and Indonesia. One of their programs is to ensure that all children and youth are protected from risks and abuse. They also aim to support children to go to school, young people to find employment and families to be able to support their own children. In one meeting between Friends, Teach for Indonesia, and some staffs of BINUS University’s English Department, Friends mentioned about the need of internship students who were experts in marketing and design. They also need a team of communication, translation, and creative writing staffs from English Department to help their projects. In addition, English Department students that are in teaching streaming are also needed as volunteers at Friends to support the education of under-privileged children.
