Disseminating Research Finding in British Council Conference

Head of English department, Risa R. Simanjuntak,   had a wonderful opportunity to disseminate her research on “the development of e-portfolio as alternative assessment at university level”   in ‘English and Higher Education in Indonesia’ conference held by British Council on March 12, 2015.

Attended by a big number of representatives from  both public and private universities all over Indonesia, the conference main theme revolves around issues in English teaching and how English is used in the context. The conference invited Indonesia’s Higher education important figures like policy makers, head of departments, professors and assigned lecturers in the conference that proved to be an opportunity for not only to disseminate research findings, but also to extend networks among academicians.

Other than Risa, Binus University was also represented by Franklin G. Talaue, the  English Language Service Manager and Dr. Ir. Ingrid S. Surono, M.Sc, the  Head of Food Technology department ,who both talked about the CLIL development and Academic Writing at Binus, respectively. [irf]
