English department always welcomes the opportunity to develop  Indonesia’s students’ English skills and competency. So, we accepted wholeheartedly when Stella Maris school, Tangerang, asked our favor to mentor their students for a debate competition.

Three students of Stella Maris were mentored by David M. Bourne, one of our lecturers who has been a keen researcher and trainer for debating competition, on January 19, 2015. The three students were coached and prepared for a debating competition that they would participate.

Other than debate coaching, the school has also requested our favor to help their students in English Storytelling, Speech, News Reading, and Essay/Creative Writing.

We feel honored to have such a big trust from the community and school. In the long run, we hope that we can continuously  give back  to the society [irf].
