Part of our learning  in  English department is to understand and analyze the ways that cultures of the world are different. We found that learning the different types of cultures and cultural products have helped us become  open – minded characters who are  equipped with strategies in interacting with  people of different background and origins. Therefore, we wholeheartedly accepted the offer to hold a simple thanksgiving-like celebration to help us feel the atmosphere as well as the values behind  the American tradition.
