September 5-6 BINUS University hosted a series of conferences at the Alam Sutra Campus, West of Jakarta. Many faculty members from the Humanities faculty and the English Department presented the findings from papers that they had written.

The conference was well received and included a wide range of topics that were discussed. These topics ranged from linguistic issues relevant to teaching language in Indonesia, through to topics on culture and literature. The conference included presentations from faculty members of the English and Japanese department, and it was interesting to learn from the perspective of educators in languages other than English.
