The workshop aimed to evaluate the implementation  of the 6 key soft skills, i.e. Problem Solving and Decision making, Self management, Planning and Organizing, Communication, Team Work,  Initiative and Enterprise, in Binus university’s courses. To open the workshop, Binus especially invited Mr. WI Chung, the HRD manager of Astra International to share his thoughts on Employ-ability skills or soft skills required in the modern industry. His views on the issue , in our understanding, has only justified the reasons that Binus University reinforced those skills in its courses.

The workshop lasted for 6 hours. The participants were reflecting  the impacts of the 6 key soft skills on students’  learning and their practices in ensuring that the soft skills are internalized by students. In Binus university, we strive hard to make sure that our students are ready for the challenges that the world has to offer  [irf].
